A few days ago, there was a news report: A 10-year-old child was unexpectedly found smoking. While doing homework, the child had a cigarette in his mouth, the cigarette end flickering, and smoke exhaled from his mouth. The family was shocked and questioned him about smoking at such a young age. But the child innocently stated that it wasn't a cigarette, but a fruit-flavored "toy cigarette" bought from a stationery store near the school, and many boys at school liked to buy these things, "thinking it was cool."

       It should be said that children living in today's era, especially children in cities, are mostly only children. They are the darlings of their families and are extremely happy, having everything they want. This is based on the current parents' general pampering and doting on their children. Manufacturers and sellers of children's toys, for the maximization of business profits, are committed to the in-depth exploration and expansion of the children's toy market, using all means and methods. Some so-called "adult-oriented," "violent," and "vulgar" toys, targeting children's pursuit of novelty and excitement, thus openly enter homes, tempting children with weak judgment and self-control to buy and play with them.

       Loving toys is the nature of young children. Good toys can develop their intelligence, cultivate their emotions, and encourage them to be positive. However, it should be warned that these adult-oriented, violent, and vulgar toys often regard obscenity as avant-garde and vulgarity as innovative, easily affecting children's physical and mental health. It is not difficult to imagine that when young children immerse themselves in these so-called "advanced and novel" toys, they will unknowingly be led into another "bad environment." Gradually, their young minds will be eroded by the "toy culture" of terror, blood, vulgarity, and ugliness, thus prematurely losing that beautiful innocence.

       Keeping children away from vulgar toys requires the joint participation and cooperation of all sectors of society. Schools and families should strengthen the publicity and education of students, improve students' cognitive and discriminatory abilities, and consciously resist these vulgar toys; industrial and commercial, quality supervision, and other departments should strengthen the supervision of shops around schools, increase the investigation and crackdown on "three-no" products, and take strong measures to cut off the production of vulgar toys from the source; cultural departments should quickly implement a "grading" system in the toy market, grading adult toys and children's toys, and not selling them indiscriminately. Those merchants who sell toys containing violence, pornography, and superstition to children should be severely punished. Only when we work together to guide and educate children to stay away from vulgarity and reject the pollution of bad information can we purify the school atmosphere and allow children to grow up healthily. Let us not allow adult-oriented, violent, and vulgar toys to erode the pure hearts of children.
